About Us
Dr. Deidre Wolff
Dr. Deidre Wolff has over 9 years of experience in research and project management, working across industry and academia on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) projects. She has worked on projects within Europe and the MENA region, leading the LCA scope of work, and has extensive experience in applying LCA within the buildings and construction sector (including products, buildings and infrastructure).
Deidre is further an approved individual third-party verifier with the International EPD System and is experienced with the international (ISO) and European standards for LCA and EPDs, as well as the use of GaBi, Umberto, OpenLCA, Brightway2, Activity Browser, One Click LCA, and the Ecoinvent database.
Deidre is actively part of the Emirates Green Building Council as an individual member, contributing to the working groups on embodied carbon. She is also a supporting member of the ECO Platform, a non-profit association aiming for a globally aligned and affordable exchange of reliable digital life-cycle product data, and part of the technical advisory board for the European Commission’s Product Environmental Footprint as an individual expert.
Deidre achieved her PhD in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) applied to the built environment with a focus on climate change and uncertainty management in 2020. She further has a Master of Science in Sustainable Development and Green Technologies and has published her research in multiple international journals.
